Seed Library
Did you know you can access free seeds via our Seed Library? Each year we distribute high quality, open pollinated seeds from suppliers in Scotland and Wales.

Membership to Diggin' It and the Seed Library is free. You can join via the link below. We stock a wide range of seed potatoes and seeds suitable for growing vegetables and herbs, as well as flowers. We would love for Members to have a go at seed saving so over time we can restock our own library with seeds cultivated here in Lochwinnoch, which would be optimal for our own climate. We suggest beginners start with saving peas, beans or tomatoes as these are easier. We have materials and support available to help with this. Get int touch if you would be interested in hearing more.

Our Seed Library also has lots of great books and a subscription to Permaculture magazine, kindly paid for by Lochwinnoch Chatterbox - thank you! You can access all of this during normal office hours. If you can't make it along during the weekday, daytime hours get in touch and we can arrange access at a weekend. We will also take seeds to any events we do, and maybe stock some at the Community Larder at various times.

Address: The Work Place, 39 High Street, Lochwinnoch.
