We're excited to be hosting our 3rd Feel Good Festival this year. Having had such a positive response over the last two years, with more than 2000 attendees last September across the various events, we have decided to extend the festival; 2023 will continue to have a year-round programme, but the highlight will be a concentration of events during a Feel Good Fortnight running from 4th to 17th September. We've now launched the full programme and you can see it here!
The festival is series of events and activities aimed at supporting wellbeing through creative workshops, nature focussed activities, holistic therapies, recreational mini-events, and more. We want to make these activities accessible for all and build support structures on the ground, in the community. We want to put Lochwinnoch on the map for wellbeing, and we already have an incredible list of partner hosts locally helping to make that happen.
By connecting people with services and practices, as well as other people, we aim to help build lasting relationships that will have a positive impact on their everyday life.
We want to shine a light on mental health; The festival encourages conversations in a safe, relaxed and welcoming environment, helping to remove the stigma around the subject.
We work in partnership with organisations, businesses and local venues to bring a wide range of activities to the local community and surrounding areas. This year we have over 65 individual events lined up and we're excited to soon launch the programme which will include; Meditation workshops with Thamma Thai Wellness; A Feel Good Family Day with recreational events, live music, silent disco, pony rides, climbing wall, a BYOB community picnic, storytelling tent, face painting and much more; Sweat Lodges and Shamanic Experiences at LOVE Woodland; A Wellbeing Fair with free taster treatments and wellbeing vendors; Food trucks with delicious offerings; A daily programme of stretching, moving and pranayama including Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and more; Art classes; Herbal tea making workshops; Fire Walking; Drumming Circles; Psychodrama Workshops...plus much, much more!
This year we would like to provide businesses with the chance to have a positive impact. We want to bring people from across the wider area to join us in these activities. Our programme caters for all, with events targeted at people experiencing multi-deprivation, of all ages. By funding events and activities, you can help those on low incomes to access them free, or at subsidised rates.
Our sponsorship menu breaks down what we have available and hopefully offers business of all sizes and opportunity for promotion. Please get in touch if you have any questions or queries for our Team!
