This year at the Feel Good Gathering we have a range of brilliant workshops for you to join. Join Ceramic Artist Wendy Kershaw for a spot of pottery and follow it up with jewellery making with Katherine Hardly. Whether you want to juggle, dance, make bunting or learn about gardening, we have it all!

About the event
We have so many quality workshops on offer this year. These are all offered free as part of our Feel Good Gathering event. Just head down to Lochwinnoch Park on the day and drop in to any of the sessions. There is no admission charge to enter the site, but we do advise getting there early as once the festival is full we shall operate a one-in-one-out system..
POTTERY WORKSHOP - WITH WENDY KERSHAW CERAMICS:
Join Scottish Ceramic Artist Wendy Kershaw for this brilliant opportunity and make your own pottery candleholder or soap dish. Wendy has been working with clay for nearly forty years, and after working in schools and collages she is now a full time maker; She will show you how to use pinching and coiling techniques to make simple forms that can be added to. Create an animal or landscape version. Work can be fired and returned after the event. Drop in and come and try. Please be aware that while the workshop is free, there may be some costs for firing your finished piece.
Wendy's sessions shall run between 12.15 and 15.15 - head to the workshop tent for more information when you arrive.
JEWELLERY MAKING - WITH KATHERINE HARDY:
Join to learn traditional jewellery making techniques and take home your own piece; Using copper you can try making pierced out shape using piercing saw, stamping, drilling and filing and polishing showing the range of tools used to make a pendant, ring or pair of earrings.
Katherine's sessions will run between 15.30 and 18.00.
KIDS CRAFT TENT & FACEPAINTING
This year Eilidh Graham is returning with her Box Bike Crafts - there will be loads of sustainable crafts for kids to join in with. We'll also have free fainpainting with Michelle Winslow.
This will be running from 12.00 - 17.00.
CREATING BUNTING FOR CLIMATE ACTION - WITH RENCAN & SUSTAINABLE GRYFFE:
Join and help create some upcycled bunting by writing or drawing your ideas for climate action on pieces of upcycled fabric. These can then be sewn or glued together to create the bunting. This will be used at future events across Renfrewshire to remind us all of the positive steps we can take to make our communities more sustainable.
This session will run from 12.00 - 13.15.
PLASTIC FREE PERENNIAL VEGETABLE PROPAGATION - WITH RENCAN AND SUSTAINABLE GRYFFE
Join us for our workshop exploring options for seed sowing avoiding the use of plastics in your garden; helping to reduce soil pollution by microplastics. You will have an opportunity to practice the techniques and go home with your own sowing of a perennial vegetable (mostly from saved seed). We will discuss the benefit to both the gardener and the climate of growing perennial vegetables.
This session will run between 14.00 - 15.00
COME AND TRY CIRCUS - WITH PAISLEY COMMUNITY CIRCUS
Paisley Community Circus are back again this year with a circus zone - time to try out a new hobby? Juggling or maybe you've always wanted to unicycle? great for the kids and the grown-ups too...
This will take place between 13.00 - 15.00.
CAPOEIRA WORKSHOPS - WITH GLASGOW CAPOEIRA
Fiaz and his team are back with their amazing demonstration followed by a workshop: Drop in to have a go and some easy ways to get started with this dance style martial art from the streets of Brazil. Last year, this workshop sparked an ongoing class for Capoeira for kids in Lochwinnoch. We're looking forward to seeing some of the group showing off their new moves.
The demonstration will be 15.00 - 15.30 followed by the workshop.
